Magen David Adom (MDA), Israel's national emergency medical service, reported significant activity during the Hebrew year 5786, marking 96 years of operation. MDA emergency teams were dispatched 1,911,412 times, averaging one dispatch every 16.5 seconds. The 101 Emergency Call Center received over 2 million calls, with an average response time of two seconds or less. The organization also collected nearly 282,000 blood units.

• Approximately 39,200 volunteers and employees serve with MDA, contributing over 6.3 million volunteer hours.
• MDA operates 213 stations and a fleet of thousands of vehicles, including 275 rapid response vehicles and 652 motorcycles.
• The organization provided medical treatment to 67,624 injured in road accidents and 229 individuals rescued from drowning.
• In response to lessons from October 7, 2023, MDA launched Project Magen, training 17,804 civilians in initial medical care and equipping them with supplies.
