Meet the North American families who are moving to Israel right now

This represents a 15% increase in aliyah from North America compared to previous years. Summer is a popular time for families to move due to school transitions and holiday preparations. Nefesh B’Nefesh offers extensive support, including job counseling and resettlement assistance, to ensure a "soft landing" for new immigrants. As Rabbi Yehoshua Fass, co-founder of Nefesh B’Nefesh, stated, "We want people to thrive, not just survive." Reasons for aliyah vary, from a desire to be "where our people are" to participating in programs like the International Medical Aliyah Program, which aims to bring 2,000 healthcare professionals to Israel by 2029.
