Mike Huckabee on Iran, Hezbollah, Saudi Arabia and Israel’s US relationship – interview

US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee discussed various Middle East issues, stating that Iran is at its weakest point in 47 years due to President Trump's actions, making it "weaker militarily, they're weaker economically, and they're growing weaker by the month." Huckabee hopes Saudi Arabia will join the Abraham Accords, citing the UAE as a "gold standard." He condemned recent attacks on Palestinians by a "tiny, tiny sliver" of Israelis, calling for arrests and penalties. Finally, Huckabee expressed concern about changing American political debate regarding Israel, particularly Tucker Carlson's "fundamentally not true" allegations, and the radicalization of parts of the American left.
