Murder suspect's legal team files urgent court order following leaked prison video

The Public Defender's Office urgently requested the Tel Aviv District Court to stop the Israel Prison Service (IPS) from releasing further footage of Agam Tsarafi, 19, charged in the murder of Benyahu Razi. This followed a leaked video showing Tsarafi handcuffed and escorted by masked officers, which public defender Roi Politi argued humiliated her and could harm her right to a fair trial. Politi also challenged Tsarafi's detention conditions, stating she was held separately and barred from visits and most phone calls. National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir defended the IPS, alleging Tsarafi disrupted order and mistreated staff. During a Jerusalem District Court hearing, Politi claimed a "poison machine" was created against Tsarafi and co-defendant Shilat Huta, and described Tsarafi's solitary confinement in a cell with "cockroaches and mice." The Jerusalem court set the next hearing for November 12.
