Netanel Shukrun identified as Neveh Tzuf terror attack victim, IDF catches terrorist near hospital

Netanel Shukrun, a father of six, was killed in a terror attack near Neveh Tzuf in the West Bank on Sunday afternoon. Shukrun, an information systems analyst, was critically wounded after a terrorist opened fire on Israelis bathing in a spring, and later succumbed to his injuries at Rabin Medical Center.

"We arrived at the scene and saw a male in his 30s inside a vehicle, unconscious, with multiple gunshot wounds," said MDA paramedic David Trachtenberg.

The IDF's Duvdevan Unit apprehended the wounded terrorist near a hospital in the Ramallah area shortly after the attack. IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Eyal Zamir visited the scene, emphasizing that "Our mission is not over" and vowing to pursue all those who assisted the terrorist. Hamas praised the attack, calling it a "heroic shooting operation" and a response to Israeli actions in Jerusalem and the West Bank.
