Netanyahu attacks Eisenkot's Yashar, says elections are direct struggle between Left, Right

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, at a Likud rally in Tel Aviv, framed the upcoming Knesset elections as a direct struggle between the Right and Left, dismissing the Yashar party as a "bluff." He sharply criticized Yashar leader Gadi Eisenkot's past decisions as IDF chief of staff and cabinet member, claiming an Eisenkot-led government would include left-wing and Arab parties, leading to a Palestinian state. Eisenkot responded on social media with an image referencing the October 7 massacre.

"It is either Left or Right. That is the essence of the elections. Either Left or Right. There is no Yashar, it is a bluff."

Netanyahu also announced a bill with Justice Minister Yariv Levin to "financially harm" those who defame the IDF globally and warned right-wing voters against supporting parties unlikely to pass the electoral threshold. He highlighted Israel's military achievements, including the elimination of Hezbollah and Hamas leaders, and operations against Iran's nuclear program and the recent strike in Iran, stating, "We did what no one dared to do for 47 years." He concluded by emphasizing the need to complete the mission, including the fall of the Iranian regime and the elimination of Hezbollah and Hamas.
