Netanyahu denies campaign to sway US public opinion on Iran

During his visit to Washington D.C. on Wednesday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu denied allegations that Israel is conducting an influence campaign to sway U.S. public opinion against a diplomatic resolution with Iran. Speaking to ABC News, Netanyahu addressed comments made earlier this month by U.S. Vice President JD Vance, who accused elements within the Israeli government of "manipulating" American public opinion and funding efforts to derail U.S.-Iran peace negotiations. Netanyahu stated, "That's not our policy," and mentioned a conversation with Vance where he believes the matter was clarified. He emphasized that while individuals in his government may have personal opinions, he alone determines government policy.
