The trip was significantly shortened after Netanyahu canceled a planned stop in Texas, which included a meeting with Elon Musk and a possible visit to SpaceX facilities. An advance team had already begun preparations for the Texas visit, which was described as logistically complex. Under the current schedule, a meeting with US President Donald Trump is not planned, as their stays in New York will not overlap; Trump is expected to be in Washington when Netanyahu speaks.
