Netanyahu strengthens bid for prime minister, Likud overtakes Yashar! ahead of election – poll

A recent KAN News poll indicates that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's Likud party has surpassed Gadi Eisenkot's Yashar! party, now polling at 24 seats compared to Yashar!'s 23. This marks an increase of one seat for Likud from the previous week, when the parties were tied. Yair Golan's Democrats also saw a rise to 10 mandates, as did Avigdor Liberman's Yisrael Beyteinu, also reaching 10 seats. Naftali Bennett's B'Yachad maintained 13 seats. The poll also found that Netanyahu has strengthened his position as the preferred candidate for prime minister, with 41% favoring him over Eisenkot (34%) and Bennett (31%).
