New report maps alleged links between US activist groups, terror-designated organizations

A new report from Israel's Diaspora Affairs and Combating Antisemitism Ministry alleges that 20 anti-Israel organizations in the US have raised over $250 million in five years, funneling funds towards incitement and delegitimization activities. The report, which analyzed operational patterns and funding, names groups like American Muslims for Palestine (AMP), Students for Justice in Palestine, and Jewish Voices for Peace. It claims AMP, a central organization, has connections to individuals and groups linked to Hamas and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), citing AMP Chairman Osama Abu Irshaid's participation in a 2021 conference with Hamas and PFLP representatives. The report also highlights AMP founder Hatem Bazian's alleged promotion of extremist views and antisemitic rhetoric. While AMP denies any Hamas connections, stating, "No, it does not," the ministry's report aims to expose what it calls a "broader network of US-based pro-Palestinian activism." Diaspora Affairs Minister Amichai Chikli stated, "We continue to expose the true face of 'innocent' civil society organizations, which, in practice, support terrorism and incitement against the State of Israel," and has urged US officials to take action.
