New York Republicans make pitch to Jewish voters: ‘You have a home with us’

The New York State Republican Party has launched an outreach campaign to Jewish New Yorkers, inviting them to "You have a home with us" and accusing Democrats of antisemitism. This initiative comes as many mainstream Jews feel increasingly alienated by anti-Israel sentiments within the Democratic Party, particularly highlighted by comments from New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani, who likened AIPAC to "monsters." Edward F. Cox, chairman of the New York State Republican Party, condemned Mamdani's statements as "the worst kind of antisemitism" and linked other prominent Democrats to these views. The campaign, funded by the New York Republican State Committee, will feature print and digital advertisements in Jewish weeklies and online, aiming to attract Jewish voters, who are predominantly Democratic, especially in Orthodox communities and politically mixed areas of the state.
