NYPD investigating men who climbed out of sewer near NY hotel where Netanyahu slated to stay

The New York City Police Department is investigating an incident where three men emerged from a manhole on Park Avenue near East 61st Street and fled in two waiting vehicles. The incident occurred close to the Loews Regency New York hotel, where Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and other dignitaries are expected to stay for the United Nations General Assembly. Police stated, "There are no arrests at this time, and the investigation remains ongoing." While such incidents have occurred previously, often involving individuals searching for scrap metal after storms, the NYPD will reportedly conduct additional security sweeps in the area.
