One NYPD source stated, "Basically, he's turning what would be considered a Category 1 hurricane that we deal with every year into a Category 5 because of his words." Police are worried about the safety of Netanyahu and officers, citing the potential for radical agitators and an increase in antisemitism linked to Mamdani's rhetoric.
