OneFamily gathering offers healing and hope to women scarred by terror and war

Hundreds of Israeli women, including bereaved mothers, widows, and caregivers, gathered in Jerusalem for OneFamily’s annual Women’s Empowerment Day during the Nine Days. The event, held at the Ramada Hotel, provided comfort, connection, and hope to those whose lives have been impacted by terrorism and war, reflecting the diversity of Israeli society.

said OneFamily CEO Moshe Saville. The organization, which has expanded significantly since October 7, 2023, offers therapeutic care, support groups, and financial assistance. Founder Chantal Belzberg noted the gathering strengthens “our unity, our resilience, and our responsibility for one another” during a period of mourning. Speakers like Rabbanit Yemima Mizrachi and Sivan Rahav-Meir encouraged resilience, while participants shared personal stories of loss and recovery, underscoring the vital support network OneFamily provides.
