Ontario man charged with promoting antisemitism, advocating genocide on social media

Simran Mander, 27, of Stoney Creek, Ontario, was arrested on September 9 and charged with hate-propaganda offenses by the Hamilton Police Service. The arrest followed a July 2025 report regarding antisemitic and genocidal content posted publicly on an X account. After investigation, Mander was identified as the account operator and charged with willful promotion of hatred, willful promotion of antisemitism, and advocating genocide, with the consent of Ontario’s attorney general. Hamilton Police stated they "remain committed to investigating hate-motivated incidents and holding those responsible accountable."
