Palestinian attackers beat an off-duty IDF soldier and steal his rifle | Watch

Four Palestinians were arrested in connection with an attack on an off-duty IDF soldier and the theft of his rifle near Susya in the southern West Bank on Saturday evening. The soldier, who was on leave and tending sheep, was struck in the head with a stone and hospitalized in moderate condition. The stolen rifle was recovered near the scene. Two suspects were arrested shortly after the incident, a third by the IDF’s Duvdevan unit, and a fourth later turned himself in. The security agencies stated, “our troops arrested four terrorists involved in the assault and theft of the weapon of an IDF soldier.” This incident occurred amidst heightened tensions, prompting the US Embassy to extend a ban on private travel to the West Bank for US government employees due to “heightened security concerns and increased instability.”
