Palestinian homes set ablaze in West Bank village attack, suspects flee scene

On Wednesday, Israeli settlers reportedly set fire to several Palestinian homes in the West Bank village of Tuba, injuring six Palestinians, including four children aged 5-10, a 35-year-old woman, and a 22-year-old man. The IDF and police found burned buildings and graffiti, but the suspects had fled. The IDF "strongly condemns such incidents, including harming residents, including women and children." This incident followed a similar attack on Tuesday where settlers allegedly set fire to vehicles and property in the villages of Talfit and Jalud, near Nablus, with graffiti reading "Revenge" and "Avi, go home," seemingly targeting Central Command Chief Maj.-Gen. Avi Bluth. Defense Minister Israel Katz had initially intended to dismiss Bluth but reversed his decision after meeting with settlement leaders.
