Palestinian killed during clash with settlers in West Bank village near Kalkilya – report

A Palestinian was killed in the West Bank village of Hajja, near Kalkilya, following overnight clashes with settlers, the Palestinian Authority's Health Ministry reported Monday. Three Palestinians were initially wounded, with two in serious condition from gunshot wounds. This incident follows an increase in settler violence against Palestinians in recent weeks, notably in Kusra in the northern West Bank. In mid-August, dozens of settler extremists clashed with the IDF near Kusra after an outpost was evacuated. Recently, Israel Police arrested two Israeli teenagers, aged 19 and 18, on suspicion of involvement in the Kusra attacks. The 19-year-old was found with an airsoft rifle, knives, and tear gas, while the 18-year-old was an active IDF soldier.
