Palestinians allowed to work in Israel again as IDF lifts ban imposed following Gilad Farm attack

The IDF has lifted its ban on Palestinian workers entering Israeli West Bank communities, which was imposed on Saturday by Central Command Chief Maj.-Gen. Avi Bluth. The ban followed a terror attack at Gilad Farm on Friday that killed two Israelis, Master-Sergeant (res.) Benayahu Melet and IDF Maj. Yuval Ezra. The IDF stated, "The return of Palestinian workers to communities in Judea and Samaria will be allowed, in accordance with the procedure for securing workers in industrial zones and communities." Following the attack, over 70 suspects were arrested, and the terrorist's father was detained for questioning, though no involvement was found. The IDF has increased its presence in the West Bank, describing the situation as "highly volatile and extremely dangerous."
