Palestinians wound, snatch weapon of reservist IDF soldier in Hebron region

On Saturday, a Palestinian south of Hebron attacked an Israeli reservist soldier, who was grazing his flock, seizing his weapon and firing shots into the air before fleeing. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported that rocks were thrown by both sides, resulting in the soldier being wounded and evacuated in moderate condition. The IDF recovered the weapon shortly after and is pursuing the assailant, setting up roadblocks near Susya. Eliram Azulay, head of the Mount Hebron Regional Council, stated, "The terror against the communities is escalating to a very dangerous stage." This incident follows a similar attack on Friday near Havat Gilad, where a Palestinian snatched a weapon, killed two Israelis, and injured six others before being neutralized by soldiers.
