Peter Pan takes flight in Tel Aviv with dazzling cast, costumes, and Neverland magic – review

The classic tale of Peter Pan is currently being performed at the Tel Aviv Performing Arts Center, offering a final summer activity before school resumes. This adaptation, co-written by director Hanoch Rosen (who played Peter Pan in the 1988 premiere) and Uri Paster, features original Hebrew songs by Ilan Gilboa. The production boasts impressive sets, costumes, and unique flight technology from abroad, enhancing the performances of Lee Biran as Peter Pan and Meshi Kleinstein as Wendy.

Sasson Gabbay reprises his role as Captain Hook, with other notable cast members including Linoy Cohen as Tiger Lily and Ofir Weil as Smee. The show, running until August 28, has been met with enthusiastic responses from its audience of parents and children.
