The PMO clarified that "No warning was given to the Prime Minister from the United Arab Emirates before October 7th. If there was any relevant information, it was passed through intelligence channels between the two countries." The UAE Foreign Ministry refused to comment on the "speculation," neither confirming nor denying the report, but noted that "all relevant intelligence has been and continues to be communicated between the relevant entities." The report sparked a debate, with journalist Ben Caspit asserting the report's credibility, citing former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett's alleged confirmation and linking it to previous Egyptian warnings, while Yinon Magal argued that a lack of official records makes the PMO's denial believable.
