Police arrest Palestinian teen who admitted to plan to stab IDF soldier, die as 'martyr'
Earlier on Tuesday, police said that a 16-year-old Palestinian boy in their custody had admitted to planning to attack an IDF soldier when he was initially arrested on Saturday night.
A 16-year-old Palestinian from Nahaleen was arrested Saturday night near the Gush Etzion settlement of Neve Daniel after an attempted infiltration report. Initially claiming he sought water, the teen later admitted during interrogation to planning to stab an IDF soldier and die as a "martyr." He showed investigators the route and where he hid a kitchen knife from his home. Police are seeking to extend his detention to complete the investigation.

- Also on Tuesday, police in Yavne arrested five residents for allegedly kidnapping a man, who was later found unharmed with his brother. This incident is being investigated as a criminal matter.
