Police arrest two suspected of attacking man who lost his daughter on Oct. 7 in Acre's Old City

Two men in their 20s from Acre's Old City were arrested on Thursday, August 29, 2024, on suspicion of violently attacking a bereaved father whose daughter was killed on October 7. The incident occurred last week in Acre's Old City when the victim was walking his dog, and an altercation broke out between their dogs. Police stated the suspects claimed their dog was intentionally attacked, then “violently” assaulted and injured the man. Following an investigation, police identified and tracked down the suspects, raiding their homes and making arrests. They are currently detained, with their detention extended until September 7 for further questioning.
