Pro-Israel Michigan Dem says she was 'harassed, followed' over her Zionist views

Representative Haley Stevens (D-Mich.) reported on Tuesday that she was "harassed, followed, shouted at and harassed" by two individuals after a science committee hearing due to her pro-Israel stance. Stevens, who recently lost the Democratic primary for Senate, stated, "disagreement is not license for intimidation or harassment." She emphasized her support for a two-state solution and an end to Middle East conflicts. Rabbi Asher Lopatin of Detroit commented that "it is tragic that the obsession with Israel, and hatred of the concept of a Jewish state, is leading so many to abandon basic values of decency and civility."
