Ramat Gan man arrested for smashing Channel 12 entrance, leaving death threat against media figures

Police arrested Avraham Hadi, a Ramat Gan man in his 40s, on Thursday, two days after he allegedly smashed the glass entrance doors of the Channel 12 News building in Tel Aviv and left a threatening letter. The letter, discovered by police early Tuesday, targeted media figures and public officials, stating, "Until you apologize for the Sde Teiman affair, I am not stopping. Next time, the brick will be aimed at one of your sharks, male or female." Hadi also listed numerous senior figures from Israel's defense establishment, judiciary, and media. This incident follows a series of attacks on Israeli media organizations, including a previous smashing of the same Channel 12 entrance and stones thrown at Haaretz offices, prompting the Shin Bet to join the investigation. Investigators are now determining if Hadi is connected to these earlier incidents.
