Reform synagogue vandalized in Ramat Hasharon as religious tensions rise nationwide

A Reform synagogue in Ramat Hasharon, "Darchei Noam," was vandalized on Sunday night, with a smashed window reported by Mayor Itzik Rochberger. He condemned the act, stating, "We will not allow extremists to damage property, instill fear, and sabotage the fabric of our shared life." Reform Rabbi and lawmaker Gilad Kariv also denounced the attack, asserting, "They smash and break; we will repair and rebuild." This incident follows other recent acts of vandalism and protests:

• A restaurant in Herzliya was reportedly vandalized on July 30 for being open on Shabbat.
• Jerusalem's Kol HaNeshamah Reform synagogue experienced damage to its building, artwork, and the tearing down of Pride flags earlier in the month.
• Basimta Cafe in Jerusalem, which operates on Shabbat, has faced repeated protests and attacks from the ultra-Orthodox community.
