Repair the World, Hillel International to draw 800 college students in service, learning for 25th anniversary of 9/11

Repair the World and Hillel International will mobilize over 800 college students across 15 Hillel campuses nationwide for service and learning events to commemorate the 25th anniversary of 9/11. Supported by a grant from 9/11 Day and AmeriCorps, students will participate in volunteer projects addressing food security and environmental stewardship, paired with Jewish learning focused on remembrance and renewal. Melissa Levine, Senior Director of Strategic Initiatives at Repair the World, stated, "Service is a way for young adults to connect with and carry forward that legacy." This initiative also marks the launch of Repair the World's National Days of Jewish Service, a month-long program from September 10 to October 10, engaging thousands of young adults in various volunteer opportunities.
