Report: Oil tanker hit by unidentified missile near Oman

The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) reported a maritime incident approximately nine nautical miles northeast of Oman, during which an oil tanker was struck by an unidentified missile. The impact damaged the tanker’s engine room, but no crew members were injured.

According to the organization, the environmental impact of the incident is not yet known.
