Report: Tanker hit in Strait of Hormuz, fire breaks out on board

The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) agency reported receiving information that a tanker was struck by an “unidentified weapon" while sailing through the Strait of Hormuz. The impact sparked a fire on board the vessel.According to the agency, all crew members are safe and there were no injuries in the incident. The extent of the damage to the vessel is not yet known.
