Report: US excludes several allies from talks on NATO’s future

NATO countries in Poland next month on the future of the alliance. However, according to a report by Politico, several alliance members, including France, the UK and the Baltic states, were not invited to the meeting.The report said the countries excluded from the meeting are among those the administration believes have acted contrary to the president’s priorities.It also reported that some of the countries not invited are among the European nations that invest significant sums in defense. The decision has raised questions among their representatives about the criteria for receiving an invitation and the purpose of the meeting.
