Robotican: Robots built for the front lines, and below them

Robotican, an Israeli company founded in 2013 by Hagai Balshai, develops autonomous robotic systems for military, police, and rescue operations, specializing in environments too dangerous or inaccessible for humans. Based near Beersheba, the company's portfolio includes hybrid aerial-ground drones, unmanned ground vehicles, and autonomous interceptors. Their flagship product, the Rooster, is a hybrid drone designed for indoor and subterranean missions where GPS is unavailable, capable of rolling and flying. Balshai stated, "If a Rooster wasn't used, it could have been someone's kid. And I've been there. I would give up a Rooster to solve a problem rather than a soldier." The Rooster has been extensively used by the IDF in Gaza for ISR missions. Robotican also produces robotic dog platforms for reconnaissance and the Goshawk, an autonomous interceptor that captures hostile drones with a net, having successfully intercepted nearly 300. The company's platforms are NATO and NDAA compliant, with sales and operations across Europe, North America, the Middle East, and Asia.
