Sa'ar expresses solidarity with Japan after deadly earthquake

Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar expressed solidarity with Japan on Wednesday after a 6.8-magnitude earthquake struck the southern island of Kyushu. The earthquake in Kumamoto prefecture killed at least 13 people and injured hundreds, with others still missing. Sa'ar conveyed his condolences to the affected families and wished a swift recovery to the injured, stating, "Israel stands with our friends in Japan at this difficult time." He also tagged his Japanese counterpart, Toshimitsu Motegi, in his message on X.
