The Sam Spiegel International Film Lab will participate in the 83rd Venice International Film Festival, presenting 10 feature-film projects from Israel and other countries at the Venice Production Bridge. This platform connects filmmakers with industry professionals for production and distribution. The main event is scheduled for September 7 at the Hotel Excelsior, with a reception the night before. Production prizes totaling $70,000 will be awarded to outstanding projects. Dana Blankstein Cohen, CEO of the Sam Spiegel Film and Television School, stated, "The presence of the Sam Spiegel Lab at the Venice Film Festival for the second year is testimony to the connecting power of international creation."
