Shots fired, several arrested after Palestinians surround IDF soldiers in Hebron – report

The IDF fired shots at two attackers and arrested others, and an investigation is underway, including whether there was an attempt to steal a weapon. The Palestinian Red Crescent reported treating ten injured Palestinians, two severely. This incident followed other attacks in the West Bank over the weekend, including a shepherd being attacked by masked Palestinians and gunshots heard near a synagogue in the Psagot settlement. The Binyamin Regional Council stated, "The prominence of extreme events while ignoring ongoing Arab terrorism creates a partial picture of the security reality."
