Smotrich scolds Sukkot over destroying West Bank monument as RZP members fear 'political suicide'

The IDF condemned Sukkot's actions, confirming troops were diverted to guard him on a "memorial tour" but stated, "Contrary to the coordination, the participants acted deceitfully and manipulatively, without authority." RZP members, including Ohad Tal, expressed concerns about "political suicide" over the incident, which was also condemned by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and other government officials.
