Soros financed group helping ‘human rights’ orgs force France to boycott Israelis

Five human rights organizations, backed by George Soros's Open Society Foundations, have filed a legal challenge with France's highest administrative court. They seek an order to compel the French government to "prevent trade or investment relations that assist in the maintenance" of a Jewish presence in eastern Jerusalem and Judea and Samaria. The organizations, including the International Centre for Justice for Palestinians and the International Federation for Human Rights, cite a non-binding International Court of Justice opinion and a UN General Assembly resolution claiming the Israeli presence beyond the 1949 armistice line is illegal. They are requesting the court to establish a blacklist of companies operating in these Jewish communities and to prohibit French nationals from engaging in such business or investments, including asset freezes as a sanction. James Goldston, executive director of Open Society Justice Initiative, stated, "The International Court of Justice left no doubt that states cannot stand on the sidelines when faced with legal obligations."
