Sports instructor arrested on suspicion of sexually assaulting residents with disabilities

A 50-year-old sports instructor, Gilboa Dahan of Netanya, was arrested on suspicion of committing indecent acts against several female minors with cognitive disabilities at a residential facility. Police presented security camera footage to the Petah Tikva Magistrate's Court on Thursday, allegedly showing Dahan touching intimate areas of residents. The victims' cognitive disabilities prevent them from filing complaints. Dahan denies the allegations, stating any physical contact was assistance. The court extended his detention by four days to allow further investigation, as police also examine his work at other facilities for potential additional cases.
