Stolen piece of military ordnance sparks fire in Netanya restaurant in 5th incident in 24 hours

Israel Police arrested Yossi Musli, a suspected crime family boss, and three others in connection with a series of attacks targeting the Japanika restaurant chain. These incidents, occurring within 24 hours, included a shooting in Herzliya, a fire in Netanya caused by a stolen IDF grenade, a pipe bomb attack, and attempted arson. Three of these attacks targeted branches of Japanika, owned by Barak Abramov, with no reported casualties. Investigators are examining security footage and forensic evidence to determine if the Japanika attacks are linked, while also probing a separate grenade explosion in Or Yehuda. Yair Golan, leader of the Democrats party, criticized National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, stating, "When Ben-Gvir abandoned the fight against crime in Arab society, we warned that the violence wouldn't stay there - it would spill over into every street in Israel."
