Suspected ebola in Israel: Man who returned from Congo quarantined in hospital

Israel’s Health Ministry said it received an initial report concerning a person suspected of having Ebola after returning several days ago from the Democratic Republic of the Congo and developing a fever.The individual is being treated in isolation at Soroka Medical Center, while an epidemiological investigation is underway. The ministry stressed that this is only a suspected case at this stage and that test results are expected within the next 24 hours.
