Syria’s Sharaa: Working on security pact with Israel, could lead to comprehensive peace deal

These talks seek to revive a 1974 disengagement agreement, with Sharaa expressing hope for broader peace discussions without relinquishing Syria's claim to the Golan Heights. He also reiterated Syria's disinterest in military confrontation with Israel or intervention in Lebanon against Hezbollah, despite suggestions from US President Donald Trump. Sharaa emphasized supporting the Lebanese government in disarming Hezbollah to prevent regional conflict.
