Takeaways from the AP-NORC poll of more than 1,000 Jewish Americans

An AP-NORC poll of over 1,000 Jewish adults in the U.S. reveals complex views on Israel, safety, and political support. Conducted in late 2025, the survey explored opinions on Israel's military actions in Gaza, experiences with prejudice, and perceptions of political parties.

• About half of Jewish adults do not consider protesting an event supportive of Israel to be antisemitism, though 4 in 10 do.
• Support for Israel is a less significant component of Jewish identity for younger Jewish adults (under 45) compared to older generations, who prioritize it more.
