Taylor Swift songs removed from White House, Trump campaign posts
Swift has not spoken recently about Trump, although she endorsed his Democratic rival, then-Vice President Kamala Harris, in 2024.
Some Taylor Swift songs have been removed from social media videos posted by the White House and Donald Trump's campaign. Over the past week, Trump's campaign used two Swift songs on its TikTok page, including one with the caption: "Red (Donald Trump's Version)." In June, another video featured Swift's "Toy Story 5" song "I Knew It, I Knew You." The White House also shared a video in April using Swift's "High Infidelity" and another in November featuring "The Fate of Ophelia." Swift endorsed Trump's Democratic rival, Kamala Harris, in 2024, and previously stated in 2020 that Trump was "WELL AWARE we do not want him as our president." Trump has criticized Swift, once posting, "I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!"
