Terrorist kills Netanel Shakron, father of six, in Samaria on Yom Kippur eve

Netanel Shakron, a father of six, was killed by a Palestinian terrorist in a shooting near Neveh Tzuf in the Binyamin region of Samaria on the eve of Yom Kippur. Shakron, reportedly in his 40s, was pronounced dead at Beilinson Hospital. His son reportedly witnessed the shooting. An Israeli soldier injured the attacker, who fled but was later apprehended by Israeli troops after seeking hospital treatment. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated, “No terrorist is immune, nor are those who aided them. We will settle the score with all of them.” He also ordered the demolition of the terrorist’s home and increased military operations in Judea and Samaria. President Isaac Herzog affirmed, "Terror will not break us, and it will not shake our spirit." This incident occurred as Israeli forces continue counter-terror operations in Judea and Samaria, having arrested approximately 230 wanted Palestinians and seized over 100 weapons in recent months.
