'They betrayed him': Former CIA informant who provided intelligence on bin Laden faces deportation

Blerim Skoro, a Kosovo-born former CIA informant, faces deportation after his recent arrest by Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE). Skoro, 55, claims he was recruited by the CIA after 9/11 while in prison for drug trafficking and provided intelligence on Osama Bin Laden and other terrorists. He stated, "I considered myself a patriot of America first and a Muslim second. I wanted to pay back this country." Despite providing valuable information, including on the "Lackawanna Six" cell, he was deported in 2007. After returning to the US illegally following an assassination attempt in Kosovo, he was apprehended by ICE. Skoro and his wife, Susan, argue that his life would be in mortal danger if he is deported, with Susan stating, "They betrayed him."
