'This is what occupation looks like': MK Cassif says IDF tried to prevent him from entering Kusra

Hadash-Ta'al MK Ofer Cassif reported that IDF troops initially attempted to prevent his entry into the West Bank village of Kusra on Friday. Cassif stated he intended to assist Palestinian families in Kusra, who he claimed were being denied essential supplies due to a reestablished settler outpost. He alleged the IDF delayed him for 20 minutes, declaring the area a closed military zone "apparently especially for me," before allowing entry after the Knesset Sergeant-at-Arms intervened. The IDF spokesperson's unit confirmed Kusra was a closed military zone at the time. Cassif later confirmed he successfully entered the village, met with families, and delivered food, water, and medicine, including equipment to repair water pipes allegedly damaged by settlers. He characterized the situation by stating, "This is exactly what occupation looks like."
