Three Israeli Jews rescued after entering prohibited Palestinian Authority areas in West Bank
In a separate incident earlier this month, a woman in her 20's living in central Israel who had been forcibly taken to Hebron was located and rescued by authorities.
Three Israeli Jews were rescued by Civil Administration forces after entering prohibited Palestinian Authority (PA) areas in the West Bank on Sunday night. The incidents occurred near Bethlehem, Jericho, and Ramallah, all designated as Area A, where Israeli entry is generally forbidden due to safety concerns. One armed Israeli man was rescued near Ein Arik, an Israeli woman who intentionally entered Jericho was quickly extracted, and another Israeli man appearing to suffer from mental distress was rescued in Bethlehem. All three cases have been transferred to the Judea and Samaria District Police for further investigation. The security establishment reiterated that entering Area A is "life threatening and prohibited by law."
