'Traitor to the Jewish people': Haredim protest against Ofer Winter after enlistment conference

Retired IDF Col. Ofer Winter was confronted by Haredi protesters in Jerusalem on Tuesday evening after speaking at a conference for young Haredi men interested in specialized military enlistment programs. Protesters, who were denied entry to the event, gathered outside and verbally assaulted Winter as he exited, shouting insults such as "traitor to the Jewish people." Some also threatened him and followed him. Winter, who is reportedly considering a political career, remained calm during the incident, according to eyewitnesses.
