Trump dismisses report China entities helped Iran before attack that killed US troops

US President Donald Trump on Sunday dismissed a report alleging that Chinese entities provided Iran with satellite images of a base in Jordan prior to a July attack that killed three US troops. When asked if he would address the issue with Chinese President Xi Jinping, Trump stated, "They basically do what we do," equating Chinese and US surveillance activities. He added, "When they say China spies on us, I say you're right, and we spy on them too." Trump reiterated his belief in a positive relationship with Xi, stating, "I think he's behaved reasonably well, and we behave reasonably well."
