Trump doesn't rule out arming the Iranian people
President Donald Trump was asked on Wednesday whether he would send the CIA to arm Iranian citizens after he asked on Truth Social: "When are the Iranian people going to rise up against and fight?"
While the President did not answer directly, he did not rule it out.
"I understand their plight. They are being shot right now… As of three months ago, 52,000 protesters were killed. Now I hear that probably 20-25 thousand more were killed. They have killed close to 65,000 protesters. So when I ask that question, I ask it knowing the answer. The answer is that they are being shot. The regime is getting weaker by the day, and at some point they won't be able to shoot so easily because the people are not going to take it."
